Stand Up Paddle Boarding

9 Sep

For the water-loving busy girls out there, have you tried the newest craze in water sports and fitness?

Stand up paddle boarding, or “SUP,” has come to the Central Florida area! It’s super-easy to get started with paddleboarding if you’ve never tried it, and it’s a killer core and cardio workout. Plus, you can enjoy the outdoors and explore some pretty cool lakes and waterways, and maybe even see some dolphins or manatees. Most instructors can have you up and moving on a paddle board with a simple water safety lesson and a 30-minute technique drill-down.

Want to get going with SUP? Check out some of the best of what the Central Florida area has to offer:

Paddleboard Orlando (http://www.paddleboardorlando.com)- Group lessons, private lessons, board sales, and group classes including Yoga on Water (YOW) and Workout on Water (WOW). All skill levels. The instructor, Ned Johnson has over 10 years of experience as a personal and group trainer, kayak racer, and a world-ranked wakeboarder. His classes and lessons tour many Central Florida areas, including lakes, intra-coastal waterways, inland rivers, and the coast. Check out their Meetup site to see which area Ned will be teaching in next.
